My Better Bladder App™ Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy outlines how we, Natural Approach Nutrition (“My Better Bladder App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), may use your data to provide you with the My Better Bladder App mobile application. Please read this policy carefully before downloading and using the app.
Type Of Data We Collect
(i) Personal data used for account creation
To create an account with My Better Bladder App, we only need your email address and a password that you choose.
(ii) Health and sensitive data
We store health data, such as your pain levels, urination details, stress levels and other health factors you track in the app. The provision of this information is entirely voluntary and is up to you how much information to input.
How We Process Your Data
My Better Bladder App will never sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any of your data collected on our app to third parties. The purpose of registering an account is to back up your data to our secure servers and provide the ability to restore and recover your account/data on another device. The purpose of collecting your data is to back up the data to our database, and serve it back to you through the app when you want to view it. My Better Bladder App offers an option to share or export your data, so you should refrain from using this feature unless you are certain that the recipient is authorized, credible, and secure. You may delete your account along with all of your data at any time by selecting the option in the app or emailing a request to do so at info@naturapproachnutrition.com.
How Your Data Is Stored
If you have an account with My Better Bladder App, your personal profile data (email address), is stored separately from your health data. This provides a high level of privacy for your health data. Your data is transmitted between your device and My Better Bladder App’s servers using the HTTPS protocol for encryption. We cannot and do not guarantee the prevention of third party “hackers” from illegally accessing My Better Bladder App and obtaining access to content or information thereon. Access to your data is limited only to authorized employees.
My Better Bladder App uses Google Firebase for:
(i) User Authentication
Firebase Authentication allows you to sign up and log in - Most apps need to know the identity of a user. Knowing your identity allows us to securely save user data in the cloud and provide the same personalized experience across all of your devices.
(ii) Database Storage
Your data is safely stored on the secure Firestore database, which automatically encrypts all data before it is stored. The location of our Firestore database is nam5 (us-central). Read more about Firestore’s encryption here: https://cloud.google.com/firestore/docs/server-side-encryption
Young Users
We do not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under the age of 16. By registering to a My Better Bladder App account, you are required to confirm that you are at least 16 years old. If we gain knowledge that information has been collected from children under the age of thirteen in the United States in contradiction with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, we reserve the right to immediately delete the account and wipe all related information from our servers.
